Week 12A

We began this week looking at different synthesisers.

We used the "Little Bits" Synth packs where we put together different components to create a synthesiser.

Then we discussed different sound waves: sine, saw and square and listened to the differences between each.

In Ableton Live, you can add in specific overtones to synth sounds to really change the sound.

We then used the synths in Soundtrap to experiment with all the different controls.

After looking at synths we presented our "lift pitches" for our digital creative project.

DJ James hit the decks and played some fully sick beats on the launchpad and Ableton.
